About The League
The League of Young Writers (TLYW) is a youth-led literary and cultural organisation founded through a series of unexpected meetings between December 5 and mid-December 2024, during a collaborative book project titled The Shadows of the Unseen Path — involving 11 young writers from different states in Nigeria.

Erinfolami Mayowa
University of Lagos — B.A. English, Finalist
A Nigerian writer, playwright, and cultural organiser with a strong focus on youth literary development, reading culture, and international cultural exchange.
He is also a business development manager at Nolliflix African Stories, a member of Pen Nigeria and CIVICUS, Johannesburg, South Africa. Participant at the Sun Book Program 2026 and the Guinness World Record for literary authors 2026.

The Origin Story
TLYW began not through a grand plan, but through unexpected encounters — a group of 11 young writers from across Nigeria who came together around a single collaborative book project.
From those December meetings grew a movement: advancing African storytelling through literature, performance, and cross-border partnerships. The organisation promotes reading culture and creative leadership among emerging writers aged 15–35.
